Blockage of roadside drainage

Despite calls to council a while ago to request the autumn leaves be cleaned out of the drains, some driveway cross-overs remain terribly blocked. It's a bit of a circular problem. The drains (and the cross-overs) are council assets, but failure to maintain them causes damage to driveways, which council explicitly say they will not maintain. Pretty disappointing that council won't at least follow up on maintenance requests to do a little preventative work.
